Wow--it's hard to believe it's July--and 2008 is half over! Since my last entry, we've hosted an Industry Day and held graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2008. I'm adding some of my favorite pieces from the graduate portfolios. Enjoy!
Since I've been posting traditional work, I thought you all might enjoy seeing the "other side" of our student work. Many of our students are interested in the videogame industry so Concept Art is a popular career path. Several graduates work as concept artists and some of our students are currently concept art interns at various Austin studios. Here's a look at some of my favorite pieces. Enjoy!
Want to share our student's fabulous work...and will try to update often. For now, here's a look at some traditional drawing and painting--they've all worked really hard to get to this level! At least seven hours a day, five days a week. Hope you enjoy the fruits of their labour...
I came to an open house there last year. I remember it well. Unfortunately I can't afford it, so I'm going to a university first. But I'd love to come back and get specialized training. I LOVE looking at this stuff.
